Bridlington Rangers Tigers U10s 2 v 1Hutton Cranswick
U10s Rangers played Hutton Cranswick on Sunday morning and found them tough opponents. Rangers dominated the first half Alex Colman , Karl Thornton and Gavin Bell took control of midfield with the defensive pairing of Anthony Parr and Ben Everitt taking it in turns to join the attack. Rangers couldn't get a goal in the first half despite all the pressure their best efforts coming from Thomas Hickson and Gavin Bell. Hickson firstly made himself some space before putting his shot just wide. Then saw a good effort hit the crossbar from a Colman cross. Bell also hit the goal frame after collecting a miss hit goal kick. Lee Warters and Jarrod Marrison came on and immediately made an impact. Warters playing a perfectly weighted pass to Marrison who placed the ball past the keeper to give them the lead. Marrison then turned provider crossing the ball to Colman who drilled his shot into the bottom corner. With the score 2-0 Rangers relaxed allowing Cranswick a few more attacks but they found keeper Janny alert to any danger. Just before the end Rangers did concede a sloppy goal to finish the game 2-1 winners.
