Butchers sponsored Bridlington Rangers had a strong wind behind them in
the first half and continually pressed the Endike goal and form a outswinging
corner Rob Waters opened the Rangers scored with a fine header from 5 yards
out. Endike to thier credit battled for every ball and went close themselves
but for firm defending from Wright, Parr, Train and Osborne. After 25mins
Endike levelled when a close decision lead to and Endike free kick which
Rangers failed to clear and Endike scored. Rangers re took the lead just
before half time when another corner was headed home by O'Grady.
Endike had the wind in the seond half and pressed for the equaliser, which
the got after a break down the right saw a good shot beat a defender and
the advancing goalkeeper. This spurred Endike on but a series of outstanding
saves from Stuart King kept the scores level. 15mins of the second half
had gone when a high coner curled into the Rangers net assisted by a very
strong wind. Rangers battled hard and went close on 3 or four occasions
but either bad luck, the Endike defence or the post denied them the equaliser.
Rangers team worked hard but this wasn't to be our day.

Coaches Comments: A difficult game today the elements were not kind to either team and Endike came out on top, We are still top of the elague on goal differeance and can now look forward to meeting Walkington at home next week.
