Rangers Panthers U9s 3 v 2 Hutton Cranswick U9s
In the first half of the game Panthers were one on one with Cranswick , Andrew Auty battling in the goalmouth ,but not giving up ,and persistence payed off as he got the first for Panthers.Cranswick were not long before they got the equalizer,Panthers now went into a lapse of concentration and Cranswick went 2/1 infront. It could of been more if it wasnt for a superb save from Jed Blackwell who met a Cranswick player on a one on one situation and held his cool to deprive him from scoring. Panthers went to half time behind.In the second half Panthers came out fighting and were not going to be beat by the weaker Cranswick team it wasnt long before they were awarded with a corner, a scramble occured in the goalmouth and Jordan Bingham was there to slot the ball home, Panthers 2 Cranswick 2 .Some great play was to come with Jed Bell and Jason Faulkner defending strongly,the ball was played to midfield to Niall Howard, using his partner Joshua Lumby to continue the move Panthers were to recieve a corner. Jason Faulkner stepped up and with a perfectly placed corner a struggle in the goalmouth was to be a reward when the ball came out to meet the boot of Niall Howard ,who struck the ball and buried it in the back of the net.
