Willerby & Westella B 0 v 2 Rangers Sharks U9’s
The Sharks second game of the day matched them with the B team of Willerby & Westella and although they did not play to their usual high standard they were too strong for their opposition. On a small, very uneven pitch it was hard to play passing football with the players seeming to go through the motions. Male, Fletcher and Evamy-Jones controlled the midfield, with few problems arising for the defence of Jones and Pearson it resulted in only a few touches of the ball for goalkeeper Adams. Pearce and Wilson entered the game to help supply forward Grosse who in turn notched the teams two goals.
