Bridlington Sharks U10's 5 v Pocklington Hurricanes 0

The worry was that after playing so well in the first game, the Sharks standards would drop. However, the Sharks tore the Hurricanes apart, romping into a 3 nil half time lead.

Jon Pearce in the Sharks goal had one free kick to save, apart from that he was a virtual spectator so much so that he was replaced at half time by Caman Male and went on to score two fine goals.

The Sharks first goal was a fine effort from Sam Waines, who picked up the ball on the left wing, cut inside and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the top corner. Leighton Gilson scored the next goal when he picked the ball up in his own half, ran twenty yards and hit a powerful shot that the keeper could not hold.

Yet again Sam Jones and Jed Evamy-Jones were solid at the back as the Sharks marched on in their quest for the title.

The second half started with some superb flowing football from Loz Pearson, Dan Wilson and Male and when Lewis Grosse beat one defender, pushed the ball onto his left foot and dispatched a rocket into the bottom corner, the game was over.
