Bridlington Sharks U10's 2 v Pocklington Tornadoes 0
On one of the most important Sundays
in the season the travelling Sharks saved their best performance for a great
result against a good Pocklington side.
The Sharks out classed their opponents with slick passing movement and shooting
power.
The Pocklington keeper made two great saves before Sam Waines hit a low
shot that hit the post and crossed the line.
Jon Pearce did not have a shot to save in the whole game, as Sam Jones and
Jed Evamy-Jones were oozing class in the defence.
Leighton Gilson down the right and Waines down the left linked up well with
Caman Male, Dan Wilson, Loz Pearson and Lewis Grosse and it was no surprise
when Grosse lobbed the keeper from 20 yards to make the game safe.
This was a top-drawer performance, probably the best of the season, with
great performances by all.
