Bridlington Rangers v Artic Rangers

Graham Waters Plumbing Services sponsored Bridlington Rangers took the game to Artic Rangers from the first whistle, Danny Gordon and Garth Young getting shots in but it took a run against play for Artic Rangers to take the lead. Brid Rangers then where put under pressure from Artic and but for Stuart King making a series of fine saves Brid could have been further behind. As the half progressed Brid got into their stride and following a good cross from Jack Tye, Andy Clay netted Brids first and 7mins later Ian Midgley blasted up the left wing and netted Brids second with a fine individual goal. Artic started stronger in the second half and leveled the scores, Brid re took the lead through a second from a long corner through Andy Clay but Artic again leveled the score and a series of three close off side decisions saw Brid go behind and eventually lose the game 5-3.

Coaches Comments: A difficult game today it wasn't that we played badly, just that luck wasn't on our side, two injuries and then down to 10 men for the last 15mins due to an injury left us struggling to contain a lively Artic Rangers. Heads up after this, we can play better and will come out fighting for next weeks game against Tickton.
