BEVERLEY TIGERS v BRIDLINGTON RANGERS
Graham Waters Plumbing Services Ltd and Scott's Butchers
sponsored Brid Rangers took on Myton leagues Beverley Tigers in what was
to be the teams heaviest defeat of the season. Tigers showed what they where
about early on and laid siege to Rangers goal and for the first 15 mins
Rangers held out, Stuart King played magnificently in goal denying Tigers
their opening goal. Eventually the Tigers pressure paid off and they took
the lead and as the half went on scored two more. Rangers lost Tom Parr
early in the second half and after winning a penalty Rangers couldn't convert
it and as Tigers broke they further increased their lead. Rangers battled
hard but on this day they where out played by a stronger team on a wet and
very heavy pitch.
Final Score: Beverley Tigers 10 v 0 Bridlington Rangers
MOM:-
Stuart King for a superb performance
.
COACHES COMMENTS:- This was always going to be a hard tye
against a team two divisions higher then our selves. Today we where out
played and credit where it is due Tigers you where the better team. Rangers
need to take stock and come back next week ready to get back to business
in the league. We know we didn't do ourselves justice today it was just
one of those days . We can improve and play better football, so in our next
few training session and our next match lets pull together work hard as
a team and the results will come our way.
